travel cost trends:
- Nearly three-fourths of companies’ travel budgets increased in 2006 from 2005
- 82% of respondents note increase in travel prices as the number one reason for increasing travel expense
- Most respondent organizations continue to tighten travel policy enforcement to control travel costs
- Respondents indicated that their 2007 budget would be 12% higher than 2006
